As part of efforts to support the state’s initiatives to prepare digitally skilled talent for the labor market, Noventiq, a global provider of IT solutions and digital transformation services, has signed a cooperation agreement with the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) to implement specialized training programs in technical training, skills development, and project management. The collaboration comes under the “Digital Egypt Youth – Employment-Ready” initiative.
Preparing Qualified Talent
This initiative is part of Egypt’s ongoing efforts to equip young people with the skills needed for the digital job market. It is fully funded by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and offers training across several governorates through the Digital Egypt Innovation Centers.
The agreement aims to deliver a diverse set of training programs and learning tracks that combine technical knowledge with practical application, helping to equip youth with in-demand skills for both local and regional labor markets and increasing their readiness to join jobs in the ICT sector.
International Professional Standards
Under the agreement, Noventiq will be responsible for delivering technical training programs, skills development, and project management in line with the latest international professional standards, in cooperation with experts and specialists. NTI, in turn, will oversee the academic aspects and ensure the quality of the training content, achieving integration between hands-on expertise and an institutional academic framework.
Training Programs
The training programs cover a range of specializations and tracks, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Network Infrastructure and Enablers, Cybersecurity, DevOps Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering, and Electronics and Embedded Systems.
These tracks provide trainees with real opportunities to acquire highly sought-after specialized skills demanded by leading technology companies and institutions.
The agreement also stipulates that trainees will receive accredited certificates upon completion of the program, issued by the National Telecommunication Institute and bearing the logos of both NTI and Noventiq, enhancing the professional value of the certificates and supporting graduates’ employment prospects.
Building Digital Capabilities
Commenting on the agreement, Eng. Mohamed Mostafa, CEO of Noventiq, said that the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the development of digital capabilities among Egyptian youth, noting that human capital development is a top priority for Noventiq.
He added: “We believe that investing in human capital is the cornerstone of achieving sustainable digital transformation. Through this collaboration with the National Telecommunication Institute, we aim to deliver practical and specialized training programs that align with labor market needs and contribute to preparing qualified youth capable of competing locally and internationally.”
Digital Youth Empowerment
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of the National Telecommunication Institute, emphasized that the agreement represents a successful model of integration between academic institutions and the private sector, serving the state’s vision of digital youth empowerment.
He said:“The National Telecommunication Institute seeks to strengthen partnerships with leading technology companies to provide high-quality training focused on practical application and employability skills. This cooperation with Noventiq comes within NTI’s efforts to support the Digital Egypt Youth initiative and prepare talent capable of meeting the evolving requirements of the labor market.”
Quality and Accreditation
Dr. Khattab added that the accredited certificates awarded to trainees at the end of the programs reflect the level of quality and institutional accreditation, contributing to enhanced employment opportunities and the creation of clear career pathways for graduates.
The signing of this agreement underscores the importance of public–private partnerships in supporting the training and capacity-building ecosystem and achieving digital development goals, helping to create a new generation of professionals capable of leading the future of technology in Egypt.
Practical Training
It is worth noting that the training program implemented by NTI includes intensive hands-on training delivered by specialized experts, in addition to developing soft skills, English language proficiency, and business skills.
The program also offers a one-month in-company training placement totaling 120 hours per trainee, significantly enhancing participants’ readiness for immediate entry into the labor market and providing them with promising employment opportunities upon completion of the program.
