The Egypt Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (EEIC), affiliated with the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, in collaboration with IBDL Learning Group, celebrated the graduation of 160 entrepreneurs and startup founders who successfully completed the training program and earned the International Professional Diploma in Entrepreneurship (IPDE).
More than 1,000 applicants registered for the program, from which 160 participants representing various governorates across Egypt were selected. The graduation ceremony marked the culmination of an intensive 9-month learning journey, designed in accordance with global standards accredited by Missouri State University (USA).

Integrating Academic Knowledge with Practical Application
The ceremony also witnessed the graduation of a distinguished group of entrepreneurs who fulfilled the requirements to obtain the Certified Disciplined Entrepreneur (CDE) certification. This certification is based on the MIT methodology, specifically the book Disciplined Entrepreneurship by Bill Aulet, which integrates academic foundations with hands-on application within startup environments.

Strengthening the Innovation Ecosystem
In this context, Dr. Heba Zaki, Director of the Egypt Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (EEIC), stated that the graduation of this cohort aligns with the vision of EEIC and the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development to strengthen Egypt’s innovation ecosystem.
She emphasized that the IPDE program is not merely a training course, but a comprehensive system aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical ideas and real market needs.
“We are proud to graduate a new generation of founders capable of building sustainable companies that contribute to national economic growth, equipped with strategic planning tools and a deep understanding of the legal and investment landscape,” Zaki added.

A Successful Partnership Model
For his part, Dr. Adel Sadek, Head of Business Sector at IBDL Learning Group, affirmed that the partnership with EEIC represents a successful model of collaboration aimed at enhancing human capital efficiency. He stressed that the real value delivered to graduates lies in the international accreditation from Missouri State University, which gives Egyptian entrepreneurs a global competitive edge.
Sadek added: “At IBDL, we ensured that the curriculum keeps pace with the latest global developments, while adapting it to the challenges and opportunities of the local and regional markets.”

A Rigorous Curriculum
Meanwhile, Dr. Maha Khalil, Deputy Director of EEIC, explained that graduates underwent a rigorous curriculum based on the Disciplined Entrepreneurship steps. She noted that the program focused on transforming concepts into actionable tools, starting from market segmentation and precise customer selection, to calculating Customer Cost of Acquisition (COCA) and Lifetime Value (LTV).
She emphasized that the program’s core objective is to instill an analytical mindset that enables graduates to make data-driven decisions rather than relying on assumptions.

Program Highlights
In a related context, Dr. Shaimaa Helal, CEO of the Entrepreneurship Unit at IBDL Learning Group, highlighted that what distinguishes IPDE graduates is the hands-on journey they experienced. “The program was not limited to classroom learning; it also included an internship and practical immersion,” she said.
This approach exposed participants to real-world challenges from day one, in addition to using personality assessment tools (IBDL PQP) and specialized mentoring sessions to ensure that entrepreneurs develop psychological resilience and leadership traits alongside their technical skills.

Business Plans and Graduation Projects
The ceremony concluded with the awarding of certificates to graduates and presentations of selected graduation projects and business plans developed during the program.
These projects demonstrated strong readiness to attract investment and penetrate markets, confirming the program’s success in graduating professional entrepreneurs capable of contributing to national economic growth in line with Egypt’s Sustainable Development Vision 2030.
