Meska Spark Conference Calls for Building a Sustainable Collaboration Ecosystem to Support AI

As part of efforts to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of artificial intelligence, Meska AI organized Meska Spark Vol.2 at the Creativa Innovation Hub in front of Cairo University.
The event saw wide participation from AI-focused companies, entrepreneurs, investors, technology leaders, and representatives of major local and global corporations.
Integrated Platform
The event served as an integrated platform combining knowledge-driven content, specialized discussions, startup showcases, and networking sessions. Its goal was to empower the next generation of AI startup founders and connect them with expertise, capital, and strategic partners.
Strategic Partnerships
Meska Spark Vol.2 was held with the support of a wide range of partners and sponsors, including Huawei Cloud, DDS Startup Gate, WUZZUF, Recruitera, VOOM, Mil, XPTS Projects, ORO, EMPIRE, KEMTIX Ventures, CORE, and PTS Holdings. This strong backing highlighted the growing collaboration between the private sector and the technology ecosystem to support innovation in Egypt and the wider region.
Packed Agenda
The main stage at Creativa Innovation Hub – Giza hosted a full agenda running from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event opened with a welcoming keynote by Nabil Khalifa, Co-Founder of Meska AI, who highlighted Meska’s journey in empowering startups and entrepreneurs and its vision for building a sustainable AI collaboration ecosystem in Egypt, while supporting scalable enterprise-grade solutions.
Omar El-Moneer, Co-Founder of Meska AI, also emphasized the importance of alignment and cooperation among all stakeholders to achieve long-term impact.
Panel Discussions
The event featured four main panel discussions. The first, titled “How Do We Build the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs in the Age of AI?”, was moderated by Omar El-Moneer, CEO of Sigma Fit and Co-Founder of Meska AI, with participation from Dr. Hany Ahmed, Vice President at Beyond Limits, Omar Maher, CEO and Co-Founder of Monta AI, and Dr. Maged Ghoneima, Managing Partner and Founder. The session discussed the need to build entrepreneurs who combine strong technical understanding with deep market awareness.
From Hype to Real Impact
The second panel, “From AI Hype to Real Impact: What Actually Works for Companies in 2026?”, was moderated by George Emile, Head of Sales at DDS Technologies, and featured Ray Wu, Partner Sales Development Manager at Huawei Cloud North Africa, Joe Zhu, CEO of Huawei Cloud Egypt, and Taher Yousry, CEO of DDS Technologies. The discussion focused on practical AI applications beyond marketing hype.
Attracting Investors
The third panel addressed the key investor question: “What Do Investors and Venture Capital Look for in AI Startups?” Moderated by Nabil Khalifa, CEO of Meska AI, the session featured Walid Hassouna, CEO of Valu, Malek Sultan, Co-Founder of DisruptTech VC, and Maha Mandour, Co-Founder of CoreAngels MEA and PTS Holdings. The panel explored evaluation criteria, business models, and scalability.
How Companies Can Benefit from AI
The fourth panel, titled “How Can Large Enterprises and Startups Benefit from AI Transformation?”, was moderated by Bassam Sharkawy, Co-Founder and Strategy Director at Sprints AI, with participation from Mohamed El-Nawawy, legal expert and lawyer, Othman Othman, Co-Founder and Head of Engineering at Monarch Money, and Amr Sherif, Founder and Chairman of Wuzzuf and Forasna.
Startup Showcases
The event featured three startup pitch rounds, with nine startups at different stages presenting their solutions. Recruitera also delivered a special live demo, showcasing AI-powered recruitment solutions.
In addition, Huawei Cloud organized dedicated discussion and demo sessions, along with direct matchmaking meetings with startups, as part of its support for advanced cloud adoption.
Workshops and Applied Sessions
Meska Spark Vol.2 included several specialized workshops and talks, including a session on AI ethics and compliance by Hend El-Demerdash, a talk on redefining career success by Aya El-Deghedy, a technical session on digital twins and IoT by Ahmed Yasser, as well as workshops on AI agents and AI-powered strategic planning.
A Comprehensive Networking Platform
The event concluded with intensive networking sessions, including the Wuzzuf Matchmaking initiative, which connected startups with technical and business mentors. Huawei also held dedicated sessions to support promising startups, reaffirming Meska AI’s commitment to building platforms that combine knowledge, hands-on experience, and relationship-building within Egypt’s AI ecosystem.
Partnership to Support Entrepreneurship
During the conference, Meska AI signed a strategic cooperation agreement with PTS Holdings, aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and boosting investment in startups, particularly in technology and innovation sectors.
Under the agreement, Meska AI joins the PTS Holdings ecosystem as a founding partner, alongside investment entities such as WE and Alpac, helping connect graduates and entrepreneurs with real investment opportunities in Egypt and the region.
Integrated Support Package
Through this partnership, Meska AI graduates, especially those focused on entrepreneurship and company building, will gain access to a comprehensive package of services offered by the PTS Holdings Venture Studio, including operational support, strategic mentoring, business model development, and priority investment opportunities for founders who demonstrate strong execution and measurable results.
Key Recommendations
Meska Spark Vol.2 concluded with a set of practical recommendations reflecting discussions among entrepreneurs, investors, and technology leaders. Participants emphasized that the future success of AI companies depends on clear business models that deliver real customer value, rather than relying solely on cutting-edge technology or media hype.
They also stressed the importance of focusing on real, implementable use cases within the Egyptian and regional markets, while understanding regulatory and legal challenges from early stages to enable smooth scaling and enterprise collaboration.
Ensuring AI Startup Sustainability
Nabil Khalifa and Omar El-Moneer, Co-Founders of Meska AI, emphasized that building multidisciplinary teams is a critical factor for the sustainability of AI startups. Such teams must combine deep technical expertise, business acumen, and growth management capabilities, alongside continuous investment in skills development and staying aligned with rapid advancements in AI technologies.
