7 Egyptian Startups Reach MIT EF Arab Startup Competition Semifinalists Stage

MIT Arab Startup Competition is a yearly competition by MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab. Entrepreneurs can choose between 3 tracks Ideas Track, Startups Track, and Social Entrepreneurship Track. The winners will get prizes worth more than USD 160K, and benefit from other services such as trainings, mentorship, media exposure, and last but not least great networking opportunities.

Recently, Thirty Startups from different Arab countries were selected in Startups Track semifinalists MIT EF Arab Competition were selected, 7 of which are Egyptian startups.

Agri Soft is an agricultural information service platform that provides important data to the agriculture industry key players.

BioEnergy for Supplies

BioEnergy for supplies uses waste as alternative fuels. Their aim is to position alternative fuels as a leading source of energy through creating innovative solutions.

CLI

CLI introduces the concept of education gamification through providing interactive educational toys that children can connect it through a mobile app to make the learning process easier and more fun.

 

 

  10TH MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Startup Competition

GB Arena

GB Arena is a gaming community tailored for gamers who want to connect and challenge each other locally and globally. GB Arena provides tournaments’ organizers with a platform that automates the process of managing and creating tournaments and connecting potential organizers and sponsors together.        

WideBot

WideBot is a bot – building platform that helps its users provide their customers with an engaging experience by creating AI bots with a touch. Once the bot is built users can easily publish it to mobile devices, web apps, and chat services.

Vapulus

Vapulus is a mobile payment service and mobile payment provider, Vapulus help its users control their money, and shop online by just using their username.

VoxEra

VoxEra is a device that allows its users use their local mobile phone number to send/ receive calls/ SMS while they are abroad with zero roaming fees.
