Google Translate

The Internet has made the process of translating incredibly easy. That only works, though, if you type it up on a translator online. But what if you encounter a book in a foreign country that you want to read on the spot? Or a postcard in a vintage store that’s made it through years of war? It’s hard to type up letters you’re unfamiliar with, even more, a whole page of it.

Google Translate has been one of the most accessible translators recently. The app features a unique trait, though camera input. Just focus your phone’s camera or take a picture inside the app and Google work to detect the language. The translated material appears instead of the original words transforming it to a page you understand. It even allows for image uploads from your own camera roll.
