Vodafone Egypt Sponsors Shark Tank and Supports Women Entrepreneurs

Mai Yassin, Head of External Communications and Sustainability at Vodafone Egypt, emphasized that the company places supporting entrepreneurship at the heart of its priorities, given its vital role in driving economic development.

During the company’s annual media forum in Aswan, Yassin announced Vodafone Egypt’s sponsorship of the television program Shark Tank and the establishment of an internal business incubator to support innovators.

Women Empowerment

She also highlighted Vodafone’s efforts to empower women by offering tailored support programs for female entrepreneurs across various governorates, in addition to providing educational scholarships in diverse digital fields.

Technology-Driven Initiatives

Yassin added that the company is committed to delivering technology-driven initiatives aimed at transforming the realities of different segments of society and advancing financial inclusion and digital transformation in a way that serves the community as a whole.
