Huawei has launched the annual edition of the Huawei Cloud Developers Competition 2025 for Egypt and North Africa, aiming to encourage developers and students to create smart solutions to address daily challenges. It is a leading innovation event designed to inspire developers, students, and companies to develop advanced applications and solutions. The competition serves as a key platform for exploring new solutions to real-world challenges, contributing to the development of a strong and open cloud ecosystem.
This year’s competition is held under the theme “Spark Infinity” and is organized in partnership with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI), and the Information Technology Institute (ITI). Registration has officially opened, with the submission deadline set for November 8, 2025, leaving only 12 days remaining.
Building on the success of the previous edition, this year’s competition reaffirms Huawei’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation, nurturing talent, and unlocking new opportunities for innovation. By providing access to the latest cloud computing and artificial intelligence capabilities, Huawei enables developers to leverage the infrastructure and expertise needed to drive the future of digital innovation.

This year’s competition offers expanded opportunities for developers, startups, and students to turn their ideas into real applications. Participants will gain access to Huawei’s APIs, advanced tools, and technical resources, enabling them to design, build, and scale solutions quickly and efficiently. The expertise and support of partners ITIDA, NTI, and ITI will further enrich this edition by providing industry knowledge, training capabilities, and ecosystem connections, creating a tangible impact on participants’ experience and outcomes.

Registration is now open for individuals or teams of up to five members through Huawei’s official website. The competition activities will take place in several stages: training sessions in October, followed by the project submission phase, then the preliminary and semi-final rounds online in November, culminating in the grand finals in December.
