iSchool Acquires Bodoor to Accelerate Expansion in the Saudi Market

iSchool, the leading platform for teaching artificial intelligence and programming to K–12 students across the MENA region, has announced the acquisition of “Bodoor,” the educational arm of the prominent Egyptian-Saudi software company AlGoriza. This strategic move aims to strengthen iSchool’s presence in Saudi Arabia and expand its footprint in the institutional education sector.
The acquisition aligns with iSchool’s rapid growth plans in the Kingdom, giving the company direct access to Bodoor’s operational infrastructure, educational partnerships, and a growing student base across several regions. More importantly, the collaboration enables iSchool to scale faster in one of the region’s most promising areas: training the children of employees in AI and coding as part of corporate HR incentive programs.
This model has already been implemented by iSchool in partnership with various banks, telecom companies, and global energy firms, receiving positive feedback from employees and HR leaders alike for its role in promoting digital literacy at the family level and serving as a strategic investment in children’s futures.
Commenting on the acquisition, Eng. Mohamed Gawish, Co-founder and CEO of iSchool, said:
"Bodoor has a strong local presence, and joining forces allows us to make a nationwide impact. We now have the infrastructure to launch a new category in education: teaching AI and coding to the children of the workforce. We've seen first-hand the personal and professional value this type of education brings to parents and its power in shaping a tech-savvy generation from an early age."
iSchool offers live, interactive education—both one-on-one and in groups—across areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, game development, and UI/UX design. The platform serves students aged 6 to 18, helping them build real projects, develop technical portfolios, and explore entrepreneurship at an early stage. iSchool proudly boasts over 131,000 graduates across more than 20 countries.Bodoor, the educational unit of AlGoriza, has quickly established itself as a rising player in the region’s tech-education space through its AI-driven content and programs aimed at training local educators. Through this merger with iSchool, the joint team plans to expand partnerships with schools across the Kingdom, develop bilingual curricula, and implement high-quality educational programs in both public and private sectors.
Commenting on the merger, Eng. Mohamed El Damouhy, Co-founder and CEO of AlGoriza, stated:
"Joining iSchool is a natural extension of our vision. We’ve always believed that AI education should start at an early age, and this partnership allows us to scale that belief nationally—creating real value for both educational institutions and employers."
With one of the youngest populations globally, Saudi Arabia represents a key market for future-focused educational investment. iSchool’s acquisition of Bodoor positions it as a leader in delivering future skills inside schools and corporate communities, bridging the gap between education and innovation and empowering the next generation in the region.
