Apply now to Join the First Cohort of African App Launchpad

Young people from Egypt or any other African nation can now register to join the first cohort of the African Launchpad initiative (AAL) to learn online through Coursera, edX, and Udacity. The courses include the fields of artificial intelligence, developing applications, and virtual reality. To register, click here, and to know more details and available learning tracks, click here.

Applicants for this initiative must be higher education graduate of 2006 or will graduate within the next two years, and they must have good knowledge of essential ICT technologies.

Benefits include receiving an international certificate, an opportunity to join startup competitions with an award of USD 2k, and seed funding, and joining local meetups to cross learn and discuss emerging technologies.

This initiative was launched to build the capacity of Egyptian and African youth in the fields of game technologies and digital applications. AAL aims to train 10,000 Egyptian and African learners to use and employ modern technologies and to establish 100 startups
