One of 28 worldwide chapters of the MIT Enterprise Forum Global, the MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab was founded in 2005. The forum set itself a goal to reward tech-driven ideas that greatly help the challenges refugees meet, including healthcare, food, security, energy and education, supported by the United Nations.
Audience:
The competition targets:
Entrepreneurs and innovators from within the Arab World.
Refugee teams and teams that include refugees, as they are highly encouraged to participate.
Objectives:
The outcome will include:
- A social reward through helping refugees.
- Four financial rewards each worth $20,000 for the most innovative teams.
