Under the Patronage of Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology: April 28–30

Reflecting the strength of strategic ties between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, the seventh edition of the FDC Summit, held under the theme “The Arch of Digital”, will welcome the UAE as the official Guest of Honor. Taking place at the Egypt International Exhibition Center from April 28 to 30, the summit will be held under the patronage — and in the presence — of H.E. Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and will bring together more than 100 regional and global experts and decision-makers.

A high-level delegation from the UAE Supreme Council for Cybersecurity, led by H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al Kuwaiti, will participate alongside top Emirati companies specializing in technology and cybersecurity. This presence reinforces the UAE’s leading regional and international standing in cybersecurity and digital advancement, while also underlining the close ICT cooperation between the two nations.

H.E. Dr. Al Kuwaiti emphasized the Council’s commitment to international cooperation in cybersecurity and information protection, highlighting the significance of exchanging expertise, developing best practices, and driving innovation in the field. He described the FDC Regional Summit as a key platform for strengthening partnerships and fostering regional collaboration in cybersecurity.

He stated, “We are honored to be part of this important summit, which aligns with our ongoing efforts to strengthen digital infrastructure and drive digital growth across the Middle East. We look forward to constructive dialogue and knowledge-sharing with regional counterparts on cybersecurity and information protection.”

Commenting on the UAE’s role as Guest of Honor, Eng. Tarek Shebika, Chairman of the FDC Summit Organizing Committee, expressed his appreciation, stating, “Selecting the UAE as Guest of Honor for this year’s summit reflects the profound strategic relationship between our two nations and the UAE’s leadership in digital innovation and cybersecurity.”

He added, “The participation of the UAE Supreme Council for Cybersecurity and Emirati companies will pave the way for new collaboration opportunities with Egyptian firms, promote knowledge exchange, and stimulate joint initiatives in emerging technology fields.” He also revealed that the summit will witness the announcement of several strategic partnerships between Egyptian and Emirati companies working in ICT and cybersecurity — a step aimed at bolstering regional integration and building a secure, resilient, and future-ready digital ecosystem.

The FDC Summit will feature more than 40 expert-led sessions, with contributions from over 100 regional and international speakers. Topics will span digital transformation, data center infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI, smart cities, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital economy, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

As the region’s premier platform for technology leaders and policymakers, the summit serves as a critical venue for exploring future trends in digital transformation and cybersecurity on both regional and global scales.
