If you are a University Student and an Entrepreneur, Win US$ 25,000 with this competition
The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) program, a competition by the Entrepreneurs Network that supports university students who own and operate their businesses, is now accepting applications. Winners of this program will get a chance to participate in a global competition to compete for US$ 25,000. The deadline to apply is 17 November. Requirements for this competition include that applicants must be enrolled in a university, no older than 30 years and that their business must have generated US$ 500 or received US$ 1000 in investments at the time of application.
The judging criteria consist of two parts, evaluating the entrepreneur, and evaluating the business. The first part includes evaluating how entrepreneurs overcome challenges and take risks, and the second part includes knowledge of business fundamentals and potential for business growth.
Winners of the Global Finals will receive a cash prize of US$ 25,000 and a paid trip to compete adding up to a total value of over US$ 40,000, including the travel expenses. Second place will receive US$ 10,000 and third place will receive US$ 5,000.
