Introduction To Recommendation Engines

ThinkBig and IBM are co-organizing a Big Data event about Recommendation Engines. 

IBM will introduce various components on their cloud, and how to use it in a BigData/DataScience context, and ThinkBIG will make a brief walk through their recommendation engines. We will explain different types of Recommendation Engines (collaborative filtering, content-based, context-based,etc.), different implementation and mathematical considerations, different types of data (implicit, explicit), and the difference between batch and real-time recommendation engines
