4 Key Bank-Tech Collaborations from September 2024

In September 2024, four major BankTech partnerships came to light, let's dive into these exciting partnerships and find out how they are shaping the future of banking. 

Anadolubank and Worldline

Anadolubank adopted the Worldline cloud-based instant payments solution for five years. This will allow Anadolubank to send and receive instant payments as requested by the new EU regulatory requirements for instant payments. 

The bank also contracted Worldline's value-added services for customer sanction screening and stand-in funds checks in addition to instant payment processing. This partnership offers other mid-size banks a potential route forward in terms of staying compliant and transforming themselves digitally. 

Metro Bank and Infosys 

A long-term collaboration has been signed between Metro Bank and Infosys to enhance the bank's digital capabilities, improve automation, refine data, and incorporate AI. 

The collaboration aims to improve some of the bank's IT and business support functions, as well as to digitalize its business operations. It also will aid the bank's ongoing efforts to save money and increase efficiency. 

Multitude Bank and Salt Edge 

Multitude Bank has partnered with Salt Egde to offer instant loan repayments to consumers and SMEs across Europe. 

By leveraging Salt Edge’s open banking technology, Multitude Bank is optimizing repayment processes to enhance customer experience. Through Pay-by-Link, customers will be notified of impending installments in a timely manner, facilitating easier repayments. 

Victoriabank and Salt Edge 

Salt Edge collaborated with Victoriabank, to ensure compliance with the national law transposing the European PSD2 into Moldovan legislation. As financial institutions nationwide prepare to comply with Law 209/2022, scheduled to be released in February 2025. 

The Open Banking Compliance solution from Salt Edge gives Victoriabank's clients access to a comprehensive overview of their finances from any regulated app.
