Egypt Cybersecurity and Data Intelligence Systems Conference and Exhibition (CDIS-EGYPT) to be launched at May 2023
" Egypt Cybersecurity and Data Intelligence Systems Conference and Exhibition (CDIS-EGYPT) " in its preliminary version, scheduled to take place next May over three days from 16 to 18 May 2023, Under the auspices of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, with the support of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Electricity, the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, the Suez Canal Authority, the Supreme Cyber Security Authority, the National Authority for Management and Investment, and the National Centre for Computer and Network Emergency, With the participation of a high-level delegation from Egypt's Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior, and in cooperation with a coalition of private sector companies.
All these sponsorships come under the interest of the Egyptian state in cybersecurity as an important defensive force within Egypt's digital strategy to secure and protect the privacy of personal data in the 2030 plan. The conference is expected to serve as a unique platform for bringing together the world's leading cybersecurity experts, technology companies and government officials to discuss the latest developments in the field of digital security, determine the future of cybersecurity in Egypt and the Middle East at the individual and institutional levels and make real progress at all levels.
Egypt Cybersecurity and Data Intelligence Systems Conference and Exhibition (CDIS-EGYPT) is the first of its kind in Egypt to highlight the current situation and future of cybersecurity locally and internationally. The conference aims to discuss the latest trends and techniques in cybersecurity, the impact of cyberattacks on different sectors and industries, how to counter them and build flexible cybersecurity strategies to ensure integrated information infrastructure. The conference is expected to bring together senior executives, cybersecurity experts and professionals from various industries to discuss the future of cybersecurity and how to protect their organizations from cyber threats.
