VivaTech 2025 welcomed more than 14,000 startups, facilitating valuable connections with industry leaders from over 30 sectors. VivaTech also celebrated global partnerships, featuring Canada as the country of honor with over 170 tech companies. Delegations from more than 120 countries and over 50 national pavilions were also present. The event marked the debut of countries like the United States, El Salvador, and Nigeria, with Nigeria's participation underscoring Africa's growing influence in the tech scene. For the first time, VivaTech presented its Global Awards Ceremony in partnership with TechCrunch, recognizing excellence and amplifying key voices in the tech landscape:
- The Female Founder Challenge honored Hélène Briand of Verley, a biotech company contributing to environmental transition in dairy production.
- The Tech for Change Award celebrated Genesis and Adrienne de Malleray's regenerative agriculture initiative.
- Innovation of the Year was awarded to Chipiron for its bold healthcare technology, developing a new generation of lightweight, inexpensive, ultra-low magnetic field MRI machines.
- The AfricaTech Awards recognized winners from Plentify (GreenTech), Reme-D.Inc (HealthTech), and Zeeh Africa (E-commerce & FinTech).
