Gary Parnell: SAP Enable Across the Entire Startup Ecosystem

SAP Startup Focus event, that took place yesterday at Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), focused on giving an introductory session about the Program itself, a boot camp and networking opportunities for the attendees. There were 54 attendees representing 47 startups in different sectors as the internet of things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data.

The event started with welcoming keynotes from Dr. Hossam Osman, VP ITIDA, Marita Mitschein, SVP, and Managing Director, SAP Training and Development Institute and Gary Parnell, Director Onboarding and Engagement SAP Startup Focus Program. Parnell introduced SAP Program and what it offers to startups.

Next, the attendees had boot camp with a technical overview about SAP HANA - an in-memory platform for processing high volumes of data in real-time. At the end, there was a wrap up by Mumen Suliman, Director SAP Startup Focus Program Mena as well as a networking opportunity for the attendees.
