E-khorda Program is Now Open!
The Sustainable Recycling Industries (SRI) project is introducing its new program; E-khorda, which is an electronic waste recycling entrepreneurship support program that aims to help build operational e-waste companies by end of 2017.
E-khorda program will provide 10 to 15 e-waste potential startups from Egypt with: 10 full day training sessions on business and technical topics, a total of 60 hours of individual technical consultancy sessions, and a total of 5 business sessions related to finance, marketing and pitching through Startup Reactor Accelerator.
The top 3 performing startups will receive full acceleration benefits as well as the chance to pitch in the event during Global Entrepreneurship Week in November. E-waste startups in any stage can apply for the E-khorda program here. Deadline for applications is March 5. The program will be implemented through different partners, which are: The Centre for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE), Chemonics Egypt Consultants (CE), Cleantech Arabia, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Innoventures. On the behalf of: Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), State Secretariat of Economic Affairs (SECO), Switzerland, Swiss Federal Laboratories for Material Sciences and Technology (EMPA), and Sofies Consulting.
