Avid Beam Wins First Place in CES competition for AI

Avid Beam was announced as the winning finalist in the CES competition that was hosted by Turned Forward for its work on artificial intelligence. The Co-founder of Avid Beam stated that what the company aims to use video analytics to extract information on business and security in an efficient way without human interference that would produce simple and brief summaries and reports.

Avid Beam is a Bid Data analytics company that specializes in developing video analytics to be used in a wide variety of industry sectors such as smart cities, retail, sports, and medicine among several others. What video analytics does is process and analyze massive amounts of video streams in real time efficiently and quickly.

Avid Beam was part of the CIO reviews of 2017 list as one of the most promising Big-Data startups worldwide based on its work with video big-data analytics. Avid Beam also showcased ATUN, which is a big data analytics toolset, in the Intel Developer Forum at Moscone Convention Centre in San Francisco August 2016. They then showcased their products in Cairo ICT.

Avid Beam was one of the startups that Technology information and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) nominated to enter the CES competition.TIEC always aims to provide the opportunity for startups to increase their market opportunities and competitive capabilities by encouraging them to use the latest technologies to compete on both the local and global level. By doing so foreign investors can give these startups the opportunity they need to flourish.
