Present to Future: Open Innovation

Startups usually innovate internally, searching for and using ideas of their own to maximize their company's efficiency, assuming that the outside world will not act in the business's interest. This assumption can be the downfall of a business, where innovation that is that done openly adds more efficiency, more effective ideas, and takes less time. The open innovation era is now, startups must open up to the outside world.
