Brightskies, an Egyptian technology company and digital transformation enabler, reveals the 1st autonomous driving system proof of concept (POC) developed in Egypt. BrightDrive, a level 4 autonomous driving system that supports highway driving, is a machine-learning platform that is fully capable of driving autonomously on highways without driver intervention, relying on its advanced detection capabilities. The platform can avoid obstacles by lane changes and is capable of applying automatic emergency braking through its advanced onboard sensors covering 360 degrees around the vehicle.
