Edyn Garden Sensor & Water Valve

4 months 4 weeks ago

If you are travelling or having a long day at work, sometimes you need someone to take care of your garden for you and water it while you are gone. Unfortunately, this is not easy to do as you can’t always find someone responsible enough when you are gone.

Edyn started selling a new, smart gardening device this week: an Internet-connected water valve that lets users irrigate their gardens or lawns automatically. It monitors moisture, temperature, humidity, and sunlight. That data is then wirelessly communicated to a custom app that provides care tips for over 5,000 kinds of plants, and when things get a bit dry, the system’s water valve automatically starts the sprinklers.
