1864 Accelerator - Cairo FinTech Hackathon 2016

The MENA focused accelerator, Flat6Labs, has launched the 1864 FinTech accelerator – the first local financial technology focused accelerator – in partnership with Barclays bank for startups in Egypt. Flat6Labs offers selected startups funding up to EGP 150,000 (US$17,000). It also offers them 14 weeks of mentorship, coaching, and support. The 1864 accelerator FinTech hackathon is the first of its kind to take on the FinTech challenges that the Egyptian market faces.

Audience:

The event is open for any startups related to financial services, including payments, digital banking solutions, machine learning, trading data analytic, insurance, cyber security, asset management, data analytic, lending and banking relationships.

Objectives:

Throughout the event, participants will work on coding, programming, and hacking. Additionally, the chosen applicants for 1864’s next round will be announced.

The event is free, however, registration is required.
