The University of Hertfordshire hosted by Global Academic Foundation, Egypt hosts its second career fair to empower students through their career paths

The University of Hertfordshire Hosted by Global Academic Foundation,(UH-GAF) successfully held a spectacular 2nd career fair that left attendees in awe. The event hosted a distinguished lineup of 31 multinational as well as renown national companies, representing a diverse array of sectors.

From the cutting-edge world of pharmaceuticals, we had industry giants like Sedico, Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Abdelatif, and Seif Pharmacies. The real estate sector was well-represented by powerhouses such as Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) and Egy Property. Engineering enthusiasts were thrilled to engage with trailblazers like IT Dynamics, VERO, RSA, OR Studio, ITIDA, Jetsolar, and Swift X. Also, the telecommunications landscape was represented by huge names like Orange and Etisalat by e&. As for the banking sector, it showcased its strength with the presence of FAB Misr, QNB Alahli, and the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI). 

Moreover, Auto aficionados were presented by the presence of Nissan Motors and Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles (MCV). Advertising and media enthusiasts were also treated with industry leaders FP7Mccan and the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC). Lastly, the logistics industry made its mark with the impressive participation of Packaging Application & Future Technologies (PAFT) company. Additionally, the food industry was represented by Cairo 3A Poultry. As for the beauty industry, it was represented by the beauty giant, L'Oréal. This grand gathering truly epitomized the dynamic and vibrant nature of the diverse sectors that shape our world.

Marriott International, in the hotels sector, took the initiative to create an immersive and invaluable experience for aspiring students by organizing a mock interview session and an insightful talk that inspired students and provided them with a great opportunity to connect with the company representatives. Students from all programs had the chance to network with different industries, gaining a better understanding of the job opportunities that await them after graduation by interacting with the representatives.

“We support our students at multiple levels both within our own programmes, through lectures, through the teaching assistants but also through the support services and of course most importantly through our Career Centre who have done a fantastic job at cultivating career opportunities” said  Professor Vincent Emrey, UH-GAF President.

The career fair showcased opportunities across a wide range of industries, encompassing both traditional and emerging fields, to cater to the diverse interests and aspirations of students. Furthermore, the University of Hertfordshire in Egypt through the establishment of its career center assist students in building their networks, identifying their passions, career goals, and paths. The Career Centre also provides support for students to acquire essential soft and technical skills necessary for their professions.
