The University of Hertfordshire hosted by Global Academic Foundation, Egypt Hosts its first career fair to empower students through their career paths

The University of Hertfordshire hosted by Global Academic foundation hosts its first career fair hosting 30 multinational companies from various sectors ranging from the real-estate Talaat Moustafa group , the pharmaceutical sector Sedico Pharmaceutical , Abdelatif Altarshouby pharmacies , Marcyrl Pharmaceuticals Industries , Abbott , Alfacare and Seif pharmacies and from the engineering sector Rowad Modern Engineering, Azure Architects, AHMED SALEH DESIGNS and Platoon designs group, with a unified vision of the university to focus on the importance of enabling students to excel in their career lives. The event avail students to network with various multinationals and renowned corporate companies to allow them for potential employment as well as internship opportunities. Students from all programmes were able to network with different industries to get a better understanding about the job opportunities that awaits them after graduation according to their field by interacting with the companies’ representatives.

“We are conscious about market ecosystem changes. We are also aware that graduates are in need of more professional skills to be able to compete in the market field. So, this career day was organized to strengthen the bond between our students and different companies as well as to offer more opportunities to them to have internships and jobs. “Ashraf Abdelbasset, Provost of University of Hertfordshire in Egypt The University of Hertfordshire in Egypt announced the opening of its career center, a centralized hub for career services that will help students build their network, identify their passion, career goals, and paths. The Career Centre will also help students acquire soft and technical skills that are essential for their professions and this includes: career advising sessions, CV writing sessions.
