Startup10 Program Winners Announced by TIEC

ITIDA's Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) has announced the winners of the Startup10 program in Egypt. The winners are Kodathon, Seavo, Ebrobots, Plug'n'Grow, AlProtein, Farmtopia, and Fruitful Solution.

With funding from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), Startup10 has been implemented in collaboration with the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM) Bari and 22 incubators. In order to foster the development of local startups involved in digitalization processes and the green and blue economy, the program aims to support their growth.

The program is intended to promote food security and youth employment in ten countries: Albania, Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Uganda. 

A six-month coaching program will be held at TIEC for the winning startups in Egypt. At the end of the program, candidates will be able to pitch their products or services to a jury composed of experts and a CIHEAM Bari coordination team member. The jury will select one winner, who will join the community of Italian companies and benefit from an additional three-month collaboration with one of them. Winners will also receive vouchers worth up to €5,000 that can be used for support tools, training, coaching, services, and equipment.
