Falling Walls Lab Egypt Calls For Talented People To Showcase Their Most Innovative Ideas

Falling Walls Lab Egypt announced the opening of applications for all outstanding researchers, entrepreneurs, and professionals to present their innovative ideas and research work in 3 minutes. Deadline for applications is on the 8th of June.

International Falling Walls Labs 2017 will take place all over the world and call for the applications of Bachelor and Master students, postdocs, young professionals, entrepreneurs and junior professors. Ground-breaking research projects, initiatives, ideas and business models from all disciplines are also welcome to apply.

The winner of every international Falling Walls Lab will be awarded a slot for the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin on 8 November 2017 and a ticket to the Falling Walls Conference on 9 November 2017, where each finalist will present his research work, initiative or business model within three minutes in front of a high-caliber jury from academia, research and business. The three final winners will receive a cash prize and give their talks again on the grand stage of the Falling Walls Conference on the next day.

The aim of the Falling Walls Lab is to foster scientific and entrepreneurial innovations and to promote the exchange between outstanding scholars and professionals emerging from different fields of expertise.

The Falling Walls Lab Egypt is taking place on 19th July 2017. Applications can be submitted online here until 8 June. The Falling Walls Lab Egypt is hosted by DAAD Cairo Office and supported by the Falling Walls Foundation and other local partners like TIEC, GESR of Misr El Kheir Foundation and the German Embassy in Cairo.
