EduVation: Egypt’s Biggest Educational Summit is coming back this November

EduVation Summit, the biggest educational summit in Egypt and the MENA region is set to take place in November. The summit aims to enhance education in Egypt through various sessions, workshops, speeches, exhibitions, networking, matchmaking, and more.

It is an annual summit that gathers more than 3000 education stakeholders, gives education-related startups the chance to promote their ideas and reach customers and investors and educate teachers, researchers, and students about education technology tools and strategies. Last year, Tarek Shawki, Minister of Education and Vocational Education was among the attendees of EduVation Summit.

Summary of EduVation 2017

This year, the 2-day summit will revolve around the developments in the educational sector- new methods and technologies- shedding light upon the educational opportunities through technology for special needs. The focus on people with special needs comes in conjunction with 2018 being Egypt’s Special Needs’ Year.

The summit is organized by EduVation which is an educational organization with the focus on three main areas: Education technology, software development, and development projects. EduVation does not only organize this summit but it also offers educational consultation and e-learning services. Their newest service is the EduVation academy which is created to teach and develop teachers or anyone interested in education technology. Some of the courses are: Instructional Design (ID), Flipped Classroom Strategy, Infographics, PowerPoint, Smartboard, Montessori, E-exams, E-assessment, Google Classrooms and more.
