5 Entrepreneurship Programs You Shouldn't Miss This Month!

To all our readers and all entrepreneurs out there, here are five entrepreneurship programs that you shouldn’t miss applying to before the end of February:

• “Accelerate Your Business” Competition

TIEC and Microsoft launched their new competition; “Accelerate Your Business”, to support Egyptian startups and help them scale and grow their businesses. The competition focuses on four main tech-related tracks, which are: IoT, Client Development, Open Source Web Development, and Bot Framework.

• “Mashrou3 Amal” Initiative

All Egyptian women with an idea, or an already developed project, can apply to Mashrou3 Amal initiative, by Tedx Cairo Women and MBC Hope, with the chance to get financed, communicate with experts in entrepreneurship, and attend workshops and training courses.

• Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program (TEEP)

TEEP is a 12-month program that occurs every year and aims to create 10,000 startups that generate significant employment and wealth across Africa within the next 10 years. The program is open to startups with strong market feasibility, clear financial models, run by capable teams, and specialized in these sectors: agriculture, ICT, housing, media, education, transportation, textiles, and manufacturing.

• E-Khorda Program​

It is an electronic waste recycling entrepreneurship support program that aims to help build operational e-waste companies by end of 2017. E-khorda program will provide 10 to 15 e-waste potential startups from Egypt with: 10 full day training sessions on business and technical topics, a total of 60 hours of individual technical consultancy sessions, and a total of 5 business sessions related to finance, marketing and pitching through Startup Reactor Accelerator.

• Flat6labs Accelerator Program

Six promising teams will be selected to join Flat6Labs Cairo program; where they will be provided with seed funding (up to EGP250,000 ), strategic mentorship, office space, a multitude of perks and services from Flat6Labs’ partners ($300,000+), and entrepreneurship-focused business training and workshops.
