Event Details
Start It is an event organized by Technology innovation and entrepreneurship center (TIEC) that enables Entrepreneurs to submit their business plan and prototypes in order to pitch in their startups. Entrepreneurs can submit their applications anytime during the year and every three months the submitted applications are evaluated and an invitation for pitching will be sent to earlier accepted teams.The winning teams who have passed pitching will be incubated at one of TIEC’s incubators for a one full year.
Audience
Start IT event primarily targets innovative startups who have their business plans or prototypes and just need to be incubated and supported in their early stages. Therefore, it mainly requires a team of entrepreneurs who want to establish or set up their enterprises on a well-constructed basis.Selected startups should be ICT-based or ICT-related, solving a real problem, Using Information Technology as a core product, possessing commercialization Potential, and scalable.
Objectives
Start IT is an event that aims to be a leading incubator in Egypt for juvenile startups who need to be supported in the process of their establishment and creation. It offers a variety of physical incubation package including:
- Up to 180K EGP of in-kind services such as consultancy services, software, hardware, and marketing.
- A working space with basic furniture and Internet Access.
- Basic hardware and software tools during incubation time.
- Access to technical, subject-matter advisory, business consulting and mentoring.
