Tawsilty, the Egyptian tech-based delivery startup, has recorded strong performance since its official launch in January 2025, surpassing total sales of EGP 35.5 million within just one year. The platform has fulfilled nearly 180,000 orders through its app, reflecting growing demand and increasing user trust in its services.
Rapid Growth Rates
Tawsilty has achieved accelerated growth, bringing it closer to the EGP 50 million sales milestone in the near term. This growth is driven by a rise in daily orders, an expanding customer base, and continuous growth in its network of partner restaurants and retail stores.
The app currently serves more than 40,000 customers and works with around 650 partner restaurants and stores across various sectors. Its operating model is based on direct partnerships and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), contributing to local economic activity.
Service Quality Focus
The company aims to increase the number of partners to 3,000 in upcoming expansion phases, with a strong focus on enhancing service quality, expanding geographic coverage, and providing digital solutions tailored to local market needs, particularly in Upper Egypt.
It is worth noting that Tawsilty began operations in Fayoum and Beni Suef in North Upper Egypt. In a short period, the platform established a strong market presence and contributed to creating direct and indirect job opportunities in the delivery and digital services sector, relying on local talent and partners from the governorates it serves.
Strategic Expansion
According to its strategic expansion plan, Tawsilty aims in the next phase to expand across all Upper Egypt governorates as a first stage, followed by gradual expansion into the rest of Egypt, with the goal of achieving nationwide coverage within less than five years.
The company emphasized that choosing Upper Egypt as its primary launch and expansion hub reflects its belief in bridging the digital gap and providing modern technological services to underserved markets.
Company Vision
Dr. Mostafa Thabet, founder of the Tawsilty app, stated that the results achieved since the platform’s launch in January 2025 demonstrate the success of its founding vision, building a strong Egyptian platform that serves local communities and aligns with Egypt’s digital transformation goals.
“We started from Upper Egypt with a clear focus on supporting local restaurant and retail partners. Within one year, we have built a customer base exceeding 40,000 users and partnered with around 650 businesses, and we are working toward reaching 3,000 partners in the next phase,” Thabet said.
Economic and Social Impact
He added that Tawsilty is not only focused on digital expansion but also on achieving a sustainable economic and social impact by creating job opportunities, supporting local businesses, and offering reliable services at competitive prices.
