Application For The First Entrepreneurship TV Contest is Now Open!
EG Bank and CBC Egypt announced the launch of the first entrepreneurship TV contest; Honna Al Shabab, in partnership with Endeavor Egypt, 138 Pyramids, and RiseUp.
Honna Al Shabab is a weekly TV contest, aired on Honna Al Assema program on CBC, for Egyptian startups. The best 27 projects will be selected to participate in the contest and pitch their projects on the screens of CBC in front of the audience and judges who are expert entrepreneurs. It’s a 3-months contest with a winner every month, and in the final episode the three winning teams compete on the big prize.
Startups who apply to Honna Al Shabab contest must be: in Egypt, the founder or one of the co-founders aged between 18 to 35, have commercial registration or at least prototype, startups must be 3-years old or less, and startups should be specialized in these sectors: technology, energy, health, education, transportation, and services. Startups can apply here; deadline for applications is on the 13th of February.
