2016 Mobile World Congress

About:
Mobile World Congress, or MWC, is an annual gathering for the mobile industry and related industries, organised by the GSMA, and held in Barcelona, Spain, the Mobile World Capital.

Audience:

The GSMA represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide, uniting nearly 800 operators with more than 250 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, including handset and device makers, software companies, equipment providers and Internet companies, as well as organisations in adjacent industry sectors.

Objectives:

The three-day program led by globally-known experts in entrepreneurship and innovation, and features conference sessions, workshops, interactive discussions, pre-arranged one-on-one investor meetings and start-up competitions, such as the finals of the Global Mobile Innovators Tournament enabled by IBM. It will provide an in-depth coverage of the current and future mobile industry, highlighting specific areas of growth as well as the latest technological developments, next generation services and growth strategies.
