MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab is one of the 28 worldwide chapters of the MIT Enterprise Forum Global, acting as an active promoter of entrepreneurship and innovation worldwide. One of their main activities is organizing one of the biggest entrepreneurship competitions in the region: the MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Startup Competition, in partnership with Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives and Zain. The Competition has trained more than 1,500 entrepreneurs and has created over 250 knowledge based jobs.
The MIT Arab Startup Competition will culminate in this four-day event from April 24 to April 27, 2017 in Bahrain, with the announcement of the competition winners set to take place during the final award ceremony on the 27th of April.
Audience
Startups in three different tracks: Ideas, Startups, and Social Entrepreneurship.
Objectives
- Engaging entrepreneurs in training, mentorship, exposure and networking.
- Cash prizes exceeding USD 160,000 will be distributed among the nine lucky winners, three per track.
