Why a 'Single Fax-Machine Failure' allowed for 'Google' to be born?

I stumbled upon this story of how Sergey Brin, the co-founder of 'Google' started out his career as a young graduate student at Stanford University and how a single fax machine failure avoided him what could've been the biggest mistake of his life; the possibility of having to live an ordinary life.

This story is so inspiring and it just reminds me of the numerous Egyptian & Arab aspiring entrepreneurs I personally connect with who can't seem to find it within them to go after mega problems. Ones that touch the lives of billions. Some tend to think just like Brin mentions in the video about his own story that: 'the challenge of trying to solve a big problem is related to how likely you are to succeed in solving it.' He thought back then that starting a pizza delivery service using fax machines would much easier than organizing the world's information on the web. When in fact it is not when you go after over-ambitious goals and even if you fail the merits of all the side effects that come along the way can be that much rewarding and significant in its own way.

At best you might win addressing the need of billions of people all while building your dream startup. At worst you might also win the personal development and fulfillment of following your passion and redefining the meaning of your life. And who knows you may end up being the source of inspiration for millions just like Brin did when he leaned forward and started Google.

So start today your journey of inspiring others by following your true passions in life. And remember that people are rewarded in public for what they practiced for years in private. Thus, make sure you're starting a business for the right reasons because it takes a lot of hard work, drive and failing fast to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
