Almentor, the leading digital learning platform in the Arab world, announced its participation in the 57th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair in 2026, through a series of free activities and workshops focusing on future jobs and digital skills.
This participation comes as part of the company’s efforts to support Egyptian youth and help them prepare for the rapidly changing job market.
Bridging Learning and Job Market Needs
Almentor’s participation aligns with its vision of connecting learning to real-world labor market needs, amid the fast-paced transformations driven by technological advancement, the growing reliance on artificial intelligence, and the shift toward the digital economy and remote work.
Workshops
Throughout the fair, Almentor will offer four main workshops covering key topics that are highly relevant for today’s youth: cybersecurity and its career paths, the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of jobs, digital arts and the creative economy, and career readiness and employability.
The workshops will be delivered by a group of experts and specialists, ensuring practical content that bridges theoretical knowledge with real-world application.
Direct Engagement
In this context, Ibrahim Kamel, Co-founder and CEO of Almentor, said: “At Almentor, we believe that our role goes beyond providing digital educational content to include direct engagement with youth and helping them understand the realities and requirements of the job market. Our participation in the Cairo International Book Fair reflects our commitment to expanding our impact and reaching a wider segment of young people.”
The Future of Jobs
Kamel added: “The workshops we offer focus on fields that are shaping the future of jobs and aim to empower young people to make more informed career decisions and build clear career paths aligned with the digital transformations the world is witnessing.”
He noted that through this participation, Almentor seeks to deliver a different educational experience within the fair, one that combines practical knowledge with career guidance and supports youth with concrete steps to effectively prepare for the job market, rather than focusing solely on theory.
Supporting Youth
In a related development, the Ministry of Youth and Sports announced a joint collaboration with Almentor, offering a 50% discount on all platform subscriptions as part of the ministry’s efforts to support and upskill youth and enhance their access to digital learning and training tools through the “Ana Motatawe’” (I Am a Volunteer) program.
The discount is available using the code CIBF50 throughout the 57th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair and applies to all subscription plans on the platform (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
This initiative gives young people the opportunity to benefit from specialized training content that contributes to skill development, capacity building, and support for academic and professional pathways across various fields.
“Ana Motatawe’” Program
As part of activating this collaboration on the ground, volunteers from the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ “Ana Motatawe’” program will take part in distributing promotional materials related to the offer across the fair’s halls, as well as raising awareness about how to benefit from the discount and the registration process on the Almentor platform.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports emphasized that this collaboration comes within its ongoing strategy to empower youth, expand access to modern learning tools, and strengthen partnerships with leading educational platforms, contributing to the preparation of a generation capable of keeping pace with the demands of the job market.
