Problem
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University (iHub), in partnership with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, has launched this year’s Graduation Projects Support and Funding Program, offering financial support of up to EGP 100,000 per project.
The program aims to transform graduation projects from ideas on paper into real startups and market-ready products. It targets innovators who provide solutions that help deepen local manufacturing content in the Egyptian industry, particularly in vital and future-oriented sectors.
Requirements and Constraints
Project Selection Criteria:
- The project must be measurable with clear, assessable outputs.
- The project should be scalable and capable of becoming a startup.
- Demonstrated economic feasibility with potential for growth and sustainability.
- Delivery of a practical product or applied solution, not just a theoretical idea.
- Contribution to providing local alternatives to imported products with higher quality and lower cost.
- Alignment with market and industry needs.
- The team must not have previously received financial support from any funding entity.

Funding Value and Disbursement Mechanism:
-Funding of up to EGP 100,000 per project, distributed as follows:
-80% for purchases (equipment, materials, tools, and prototypes)
-20% for training and technical support (technical mentoring, consultations, and exhibition participation)
