Giza Governorate has signed a cooperation protocol with Rabbit Mobility to expand the operation of green mobility services across the governorate through a digital application, as part of the governorate’s efforts to support sustainable and environmentally friendly urban transportation systems.

Eco-Friendly Transportation Services
Eng. Adel El-Naggar, Governor of Giza, stated that the protocol aims to provide individual transportation services using electric scooters (Rabbit) on the streets of Giza, as one of the eco-friendly mobility solutions aligned with Egypt’s Vision 2030, emission reduction plans, and efforts to enhance citizens’ quality of life.
He emphasized the governorate’s commitment to supporting innovative projects that contribute to improving traffic flow in main roads and vital areas, achieving smoother mobility, and offering smart, easy-to-use services for the public.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ms. Hend Abdel Halim, Deputy Governor of Giza; Mr. Mohamed Nour El-Din, Secretary-General of the Governorate; Mr. Kamal Hassan Kamal El-Din El-Suwaini, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rabbit Mobility; and Mr. Faisal Gad, Operations Manager of Rabbit Mobility in Giza Governorate.

Facilitating Company Operations
Following the signing, Eng. Promoting a Culture of Green Mobility
El-Naggar noted that an agreement was reached with the company to offer citizens an exclusive promo code upon registration via a QR code, encouraging them to use the service as part of promoting green mobility culture.
The promo code GIZARBT grants the first ride free of charge, up to a maximum value of EGP 40.
He added: “We look forward to this project being a first step toward expanding green mobility solutions across all districts of the governorate, and encouraging citizens, especially youth, to adopt alternative transportation methods that help reduce congestion and improve service quality in Giza.”
