AgriCash, the agricultural fintech platform, continues to expand its digital solutions for financing agricultural inputs. As part of its ongoing mission, the company announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with Alkheir Microfinance, a subsidiary of Aspire Holding and a company licensed by Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA).
The partnership aims to broaden access to digital agricultural financing through a newly launched seasonal financing product called “Qard El-Kheir” (Alkheir Loan) — a 0% interest financing program fully subsidized by AgriCash to support small farmers and agricultural micro-projects.
Supporting Farmers
This collaboration introduces the first jointly developed digital financing product between the two entities under the name “Qard El-Kheir.”

The innovative seasonal financing program targets:
- Smallholder farmers
- Owners of small agricultural projects
- Small-scale agricultural input traders
“Qard El-Kheir” is the first seasonal agricultural financing program implemented at 0% interest, with AgriCash covering the full cost of the interest. This significantly eases the financial burden on beneficiaries throughout the farming season.
The program provides in-kind financing that enables users to purchase essential agricultural inputs—including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation tools, and specialized supplies—through AgriCash’s network of accredited suppliers.
How Beneficiaries Can Access the Service
Applicants can apply directly for “Qard El-Kheir” through the AgriCash digital platform, where the system performs:
- Application submission and data verification
- Electronic document review
- Forwarding applications to Alkheir Microfinance for creditworthiness assessment
- Disbursing the full financing in-kind via AgriCash’s supplier network
This integrated digital workflow enhances transparency, simplifies access to seasonal supplies, and eliminates unnecessary financial or procedural burdens.
Fair and Accessible Financing
Dr. Diaa Youssef, CEO of AgriCash, commented:“Launching Qard El-Kheir in cooperation with Alkheir Microfinance is a practical step toward empowering small farmers and small traders through fair and accessible financing solutions. AgriCash’s full coverage of the interest cost reflects our real commitment to improving farmers’ livelihoods and removing financial barriers that hinder their progress.”
Supporting Digital Transformation
Dr. Ehab Moneer, Managing Director of Alkheir Microfinance, added: “We are proud to be the first microfinance institution to offer a seasonal agricultural product with zero interest in collaboration with AgriCash. This partnership strengthens digital transformation and financial inclusion, and it paves the way for innovative financing models that serve the most underserved communities.”
