We live in a world where global warming is rapidly increasing and we are suffering from the large amounts of greenhouse gases and dramatic climate change in our habitats. This innovation is focusing reducing unnecessary trips by garbage trucks and thus decreasing carbon dioxide and other fuel related emissions.  

Using solar cells, the “smart trash cans” use renewable energy sources to compact trash to take 5x more garbage and automatically alert disposal companies once full.
