Key Discussion Points

The seminar will explore how light can be used through what is known as Optical Tweezers to trap and control the motion of microrobots, opening the door to advanced applications in biomedical fields and lab-on-a-chip systems. The session will also highlight the latest precision fabrication techniques that enable the development of complex, three-dimensional microrobots capable of movement without direct physical contact.

The seminar will be delivered by Alaa Ali, a PhD researcher at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), who will present recent research and development trends in microrobotics and precision technologies.

About Event

Zewail City of Science and Technology is organizing a specialized scientific seminar on the world of microrobots and optical control technologies, as part of its ongoing efforts to track the latest developments in microtechnology and advanced medical applications.

The seminar comes from a series of scientific events aimed at spreading knowledge about cutting-edge research shaping the future of microrobotics and microscopic technologies.
