Agri-Tech Innovation Hackathon – Ready for Tomorrow Program

The Agri-Tech Hackathon, part of the Ready for Tomorrow program in collaboration with Plan International, with ARIA Ventures as the investment partner and NU IECC as the innovation and entrepreneurship partner, is designed to empower young innovators building climate-smart and scalable solutions for Egypt’s agriculture sector.

The hackathon officially begins on 30 November, followed by workshops from 30 November to 4 December, and concludes with the final judging and presentation day on 8 December.

The hackathon offers a unique chance to turn innovative agricultural ideas into real, market-ready solutions while building the skills and networks needed to scale in the agritech ecosystem.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Age between 18 and 35 years old.
• Resident of Greater Cairo (Cairo, Giza, or Qalyubia) 
• Able to commit fully to attending and participating in the entire 5-day program.
• The idea must be at an early-stage level, developed within the last 6 months, and should be in the prototype phase, progressing toward a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that can be improved without the need for major investment.
• The idea must fall within the Agri-Tech / agricultural innovation domain.

 By the end of the 5-day Agri-Tech Hackathon, each team is expected to submit a complete Business Plan and a professional Pitch Deck. Throughout the program, participants will work step-by-step on building these deliverables through workshops, mentoring, and hands-on activities.
