Separate units established inside bank branches, universities and youth centers under the auspices of the “NilePreneurs” initiative by the Central Bank of Egypt. It works under a unified brand image, internal work procedures manual, and operating system in all branches, and aims at providing Business Development Services (BDS) to enhance the working environment of SMEs and entrepreneurs, transform the youth’s innovative ideas into feasible projects, enable young people who want to start their own business to choose a project that is appropriate for their capabilities, provide financial and banking literacy, and support banks in achieving their main goals of financing entrepreneurs and MSMEs

“Business Accelerator 101” – its slogan “Grow or End” – to make a rapid shift in the performance of companies that have been incubated and graduated to the labor market, which can lead to rapid economic return on Egyptian society and create new jobs. While incubators are essentially non-profit and their funding is provided as non-refundable grants, accelerators are investment where funding aims to develop the capital provided to startups, and therefore the companies involved in the accelerators are attractive to capital and investors.

The project is an innovative initiative by the Government of Egypt and MCIT and a unique solution, as it simultaneously addresses a compilation of root causes of youth unemployment in realistic and pragmatic ways by uniting different vital services for the growth of any business in one location, easily accessed by youth seeking to develop their business plans or already in business, yet, still struggling or in a start-up phase.
