In the third year in a row ILO, MCSBE, USAID, and GIZ announce the call for application to Nawah Competition, the Egyptian Innovation Award for Social Entrepreneurship Competition for innovative business plans that can impact Egyptian society and drive business growth through the support of Tatweer Misr, the Egyptian fast growing real estate development company.

Audience

Participants can select business ideas in 3 categories Youth for entrepreneurs from age 18 to 35, Schools for high school enrolled students younger than 19 years old as well as Arts and Culture where you have a business operating in the field of art and/or culture. You can apply in more than one category.

Objectives

Nawah’s Social Entrepreneurship Challenge has as objective to contribute to a flourishing, collaborative and conscious entrepreneurship ecosystem by empowering young entrepreneurs, to develop their skills, capabilities and expand their network and resources.

The Competition is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to compete in a country-wide challenge, to showcase their business idea. Ideas are selected based on sustainability, social problem-solving ability (impact) and innovation.

Finalists will get an invitation to Egypt Entrepreneurship Summit that will take place in Hurghada in November and winners will have financial prizes up to 60,000 EGP, mentoring, online and offline exposure.
