WideBot Raises Six Figure USD Investment

WideBot, an Arabic focused bot building platform, announced on Saturday that it raised a six-figure USD pre Series A investment from Business Valley, according to the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) incubator.

WideBot, the very first Arabic chatbot in the region, was founded in 2016 by Mohamed Nabil and Ahmed Labib and it’s one of the graduates of TIEC’s incubation program. The platform helps businesses build smart chatbots that speak the region’s language and engages with them without coding in less than ten minutes.

The startup had raised 2 investments in 2018 from two different angel investors with a total of $100,000.

So far, they have 6 different Arabic slangs. This investment will be used to add more slangs as well as developing the platform itself.

The platform is not available for public yet but is being used by a small number of partners who have been given early access. WideBot will be making the platform available to anyone with its public launch next month according to MENAbytes.
