This list includes some opportunities, competitions and initiatives that supports women entrepreneurs in Egypt that women can apply to throughout the year:

  1. She Entrepreneurs
    She Entrepreneurs is a leadership programme for highly motivated women entrepreneurs in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) who are building successful and sustainable businesses with the potential to make a difference in their societies. It will include practical and hands-on leadership training based on real business experiences and collaborative learning.
  2. The Women Entrepreneurship Program in TIEC (هي رائدة):
    This program aims to support women entrepreneurs who have a startup in the fields of communication and information technology (Website, Mobile Application, Software, IOT platform). Trainings in this program include: validating your business idea, how to run your business and digital marketing tools.

  3. Cartier Women’s Initiative
    Cartier Women’s Initiative is an annual business competition that is open to “women-run impact-driven” businesses in any country and industry sector. The initiative aims to encourage inspirational women entrepreneurs worldwide to solve contemporary global challenges. Every year, one woman wins from each of the following regions: Latin America, North America, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East & North Africa, East Asia and South Asia & Oceania.

  4. Entrepenelle
    Entrepenelle is a social enterprise that aims to empower women economically through education, training, and all available resources on. It also aims to bridge the gender gap through trainings on the basics of entrepreneurship. Since 2015, Entreprenelle held over 100 workshops, hosted 15 educational events, and formed an online community of over 250,000 members through different social media portals.

  5. Start Egypt
    Start Egypt’s team designed workshops and trainings to help women entrepreneurs move from ideation to implementation, and then attract investment at different stages, whether at a very early stage or at a more advanced stage in the startup.
